Drake unveiled a new NOCTA x Nike apparel collection, 8K Peaks collection, inspired by ground-breaking 14 Peaks and K2 Winter mountaineer Nimsdai 'Nims' Purja. The detailed collection includes outwear and apparel for colder climates.

Continuing to build on its functional and technical theme, the upcoming apparel collection by NOCTA is inspired by their amazement of Nimsdai 'Nims' Purja; the Chitwan-born, ground-breaking mountaineer and holder of multiple mountaineering world records.
Nimsdai holds the greatest number of successful summits over 8,000meters in the history of extreme high-altitude mountaineering with a total of 43. In 2019, Nimsdai climbed all 14 of the world's 'Death Zone' peaks over 8,000m in just 6 months and 6 days. He also led the first winter ascent of the 'Savage Mountain' K2 – together with the ten-strong Nepal team they walked arm in arm to the summit, singing the Nepalese national anthem.

Inspired by his feats in some of the coldest and most extreme environments in earth, Drake’s new NOCTA x Nike collection includes outerwear and apparel for the colder climates.

Giving homage to Nims and his accolades, NOCTA designed a limited-edition t-shirt that was inspired by Nimsdai's unique tattoo featuring the world's tallest peaks. This exclusive t-shirt showcased a screen-printed depiction of the majestic Himalayan mountains on its back and was an exclusively available to the Nimsdai community with 100% of proceeds going to support the Nimsdai Foundation. This money will fund initiatives that Inspire, Protect, Educate and redefine what is possible.
