Famous for climbing all 14 of the world’s highest peaks in just 6 months and 6 days, Nimsdai and his team spend 11 months of the year on the Big Mountains. The collection has been designed, developed, and exped-tested by these world record breakers in the most extreme environments on Earth.
Nimsdai and his world record breaking team exped test all kit to the limit; in all weathers, across the different 8,000m mountains of the world and the Seven Summits, for months at a time. This first collection sets a new benchmark for kit defined by the environment in which it is used. Down to the little details like zip lengths – every part has been created for ultimate Big Mountain durability, reliability, and functionality. While leveraging the latest in clothing technology to create products that are defined by the elements.
Look good, do good!
The new collection looks good and does good too – Nimsdai Purja has committed to donate a 5% of all proceeds from across the Nimsdai Brands (including Nimsdai Store, Elite Exped, Skydive Nimsdai, as well as from future book and film opportunities, brand endorsements and speaking events), go to the charitable Nimsdai Foundation to fund projects that redefine what is possible, like this year’s Big Mountain Clean Up on Everest and building a Porters Lodge in Lobuche.
Nims’ unwavering belief is that with the right attitude and a determined pursuit for excellence, nothing is impossible. He is passionate about making a difference and committed to giving back to the communities and places that have inspired him. Based on his personal values the Nimsdai Foundation was established to support people and projects that seek to Inspire, Educate, and Protect. These include:
Educational Initiatives
The Foundation focuses on providing equal and equitable educational opportunities. The Foundation works towards building or improving schools, providing learning opportunities, or supplying educational materials to help support the future of young learners.
Environment & Renewable Energy Projects.
The Foundation seeks to preserve the cultural heritage and environmental integrity of the mountains. Responding to the increasingly fragile ecosystem, we deliver and support innovative projects that deliver real change. Leading by example and working with key partners, we want to ensure that the spaces we enjoy are there for everyone.
Supporting Others Achieve Their Possible.
The Foundation seeks to inspire everyone to achieve a new possible, as we believe the environment is a force for rehabilitative good. We support those that may have, or continue to struggle with, physiological or psychologic challenges. We also play a significant role in nurturing the next generation of climbers, providing resources and opportunities for young enthusiasts to develop their skills in mountaineering.
Disaster Relief
As the world changes, we find ourselves experiencing more frequent natural disasters. These devastating events often impact the poorest and most difficult to reach communities.
If we have the right skills and experience, we are prepared to respond. If we can use our global voice to increase awareness and help others, we are prepared to respond. We recognise that providing rapid support, either through our network or that of our trusted partners, can have an immediate and positive change for those affected.
In 2024 the main focus of the Nimsdai Foundation is returning to Everest to do the latest Big Mountain Clean Up as well as building a new Porters Lodge for the unsung heroes of the mountains at Lobuche.
Through these initiatives, the Nimsdai Foundation is laying down a foundation for long-term growth and development, and helping to redefine what is possible.

It delivers outstanding warmth through 790 fill power down, combined with a durable two-layer Nylon fabric with DWR treatment and 15k/15K membrane. It features Pertex Quantum technology, known for its high loft to light weight. Additional elasticated detailing ensures the Jacket sits closer to the body, retaining more heat, Polartec® fleece inside the pockets provides extra warmth and micro-fibre fleece round the face protects from chaffing. Stay searchable in an emergency with RECCO technology.
Nimsdai K2 Waterproof Jacket and Trousers
Stay dry in the most extreme conditions – the K2 Winter Waterproof Jacket and Trousers use GORE-TEX PRO® three-layer membrane and nylon outer fabric, offering ultra-durable, waterproof protection with maximum breathability. The relaxed Jacket fit allows for free movement during any challenging obstacles, while the Trousers have scuff guards and long ventilation zips to allow for easy use with crampons and skies. Complete with multiple pockets and RECCO search technology.
