Expedition-proven performance — Nikol Kovalchuk climbs the world’s highest mountains wearing Nimsdai Store gear built for the extremes.

Nikol Kovalchuk Nimsdaistore Ambassador

When Nikol Kovalchuk completed her final summit of Denali on 6th June 2025, she joined one of the most exclusive clubs in mountaineering — those who’ve conquered all 14 Peaks above 8,000m and the Seven Summits, the highest mountain on each continent. Even more impressively, she did it in just over five years.

As a Nimsdai Store Ambassador , Nikol has pushed our technical gear to its limits across the world’s harshest environments — from the death zone on Everest to the icy silence of Antarctica. Her climbs are a real-world testbed for kit designed and developed by elite mountaineers, including Nims Purja himself.

Whether tackling vertical ice, 100km/h winds, or sub-zero bivouacs, Nikol trusted the same equipment available to every adventurer through the Nimsdai Store .

Kit Built for the worlds harshest enviroments

The Ultimate Summit Suit

Nikol wore The Ultimate Nimsdai Summit Suit on multiple 8,000m expeditions, including Annapurna, K2, and Kanchenjunga. Designed for maximum warmth and efficiency at extreme altitudes and filled with 800FP duck down, the suit combines expedition-grade insulation with smart features like oversized zip toggles, integrated harness access, and a weather-shielded hood. Lightweight yet highly technical, this suit kept Nikol protected in the most unforgiving conditions on Earth.

Nimsdai x Scarpa Phantom 8000m Heated Boots

Cold feet can end an expedition. That’s why Nikol relied on the Nimsdai x Scarpa Phantom 8000m Heated Boots — cutting-edge footwear co-developed by Nims Purja MBE and Scarpa. The built-in Therm-ic heating system helps to maintain circulation during long summit pushes, while the double gaiter and carbon fibre insole provide stability and protection at altitude. These boots were worn on multiple 8,000ers and in Antarctica, proving their durability and warmth.

Project Possible Down Jacket

On rest days, during cold camps and as a layer for climbing, Nikol kept warm in the Project Possible Jacket — named after Nims’ historic record-breaking mission. This expedition-ready down jacket features 850-fill power insulation, windproof fabric, and a design engineered for alpine layering. Stylish, practical, and exped-tested in basecamps from the Himalayas to the Karakoram, it was a core part of Nikol’s expedition gear.

Built for the Bold

Nikol’s journey was about more than summits — it was about resilience, ambition, and gear that performs when it matters most.

  • 14 Peaks completed between May 2023 and May 2025 — including Everest, Annapurna, K2, and Shishapangma
  • Seven Summits achieved across six continents — with the addition of a South Pole ski expedition
  • Over 20 expeditions completed with Elite Exped, led by Nims Purja

As a mother of four, successful entrepreneur, and dedicated philanthropist, Nikol is a force of nature both on and off the mountain. Her story is one of balance, belief, and bold ambition — and we’re proud that she chose to wear Nimsdai Store gear on her journey.
